Yummy fun. Harkening back to childhood, “Drinking Dots” is the ultimate comfort food. It’s a lidded plastic stadium cup containing two ounces of delicious (trust us) mini chocolate-chip cookies, individually bagged. To use, open the bag, pour the cookies in the cup and enjoy hands-free eating. (Don’t forget the cup of milk when you’re through!)

Light-headed. The “LED Headlamp” features a comfortable foam back and soft adjustable elastic strap, but that’s only the basics. It features not one, but three levels of light, and has a blinking mode to attract attention when necessary. The White Nichia diode has a 100,000-hour lifespan, and the outside battery power meter also functions as a way to find the item in the dark.

Portable philosophy. “The one piece of advice which will contribute to making you a better leader is …” What’s the rest of the quote? It can be found in Everyone Leads: It Takes Each of Us to Make a Difference for All of Us, a new book available only as a promotional product. The 6” x 6” hardcover can be imprinted via a foil-stamped logo/message on the jacket, a four-color message page actually inserted into the book or a completely customized jacket.

4Ace in the hole. It’s amazing how far lenticular (“magic motion”) graphics have come. It used to be that, whether full color or monotone, you could only get two basic images. Not anymore. When tilted or gently rotated, this acrylic golf bag tag shows the golfer not only how to start his swing, but completely follow through with his drive – almost as if watching a filmstrip. Ask your promotional consultant for a sample to really appreciate it.

Cuddle up. “CD Cuddlehead” is a squeezable (hence the name) plush bear face that unzips to reveal a CD/DVD holder. The nylon zipper practically blends in with the product, and the soft inner pockets hold up to 16 discs. As they say at the circus, it’s for kids of all ages. And for those preferring something other than a bear, there are additional designs offered, including a bright red heart.

Slim & secure. It’s hard to beat the “TightWad” when you don’t want the hassle of carrying your entire wallet or purse. It’s a thick, extra-strong rubberized band that securely holds credit/video/library/shopping club cards – as well as cash – and can fit very easily in any pocket without being bulky. The attachments can be screen-printed or engraved and are offered in several colors. Light enough for a mailing.

The hands-on approach. Unless your first name is Tiger or Vijay, you’re probably not entirely happy with how you golf. Most golfers know your game lies in your swing, and pros agree that the harder you hold your club when swinging, the less accurate your drive will be. “CoolGrip” is a new piece of mini-technology that will help you improve your grip, swing and game. It attaches to your club grip and lets go with an audible chirp at the top of your swing to remind you to hold the club more loosely. Offered in three basic, as well as custom, colors.

Brand-building? That’s just one thing “Promo Blocks” can do for you. They may look like a very famous brand of building blocks, but they’re far more cost-effective. The important thing, however, is how hard they are to put down once you get started. Depending on how many you have, there’s no limit to the various shapes one can create. Each block is imprintable and colors include green, silver, blue, yellow, white, red and black. One or both sides can be imprinted, and different sizes are offered, too.
