Just like many trends from the ‘70s and early ‘80s, it’s ba-ack. Then, it was called ultrasuede. Today it’s known by the more technical-sounding “microsuede.” And the “Monterey Bay” jacket is made of it. In a full range of sizes and colors.

We’ve said it before – packaging can occasionally make the product, but it can enhance it much more often. These shaped satin-covered boxes, which can be used to hold anything from candy to a couple of CDs, definitely make a statement. In several stock shapes (truck, house, dollar sign), but custom pieces are available, too.

Body of anodized aluminum, pushbutton-style spring mechanism to clip it on a belt or bag loop and a tempered split ring. Sounds like your standard carabiner-type keytag. And it is – except that this one has some style added.

These handcuff-type plastic clamps will keep cables, electrical cords and wires in order and in place. Available in six colors and three sizes, they also have three imprint areas. Oh – unlike handcuffs, they unlock at the touch of a button.

Here’s a fun product that combines a game played by many college students with a way to improve the old hand-eye/hand-foot coordination. The “Myachi” is a bean bag toy the size and shape of a disposable lighter. It’s designed to be juggled and passed with the back of the hand and the foot. Why? It’s fun.

There’s nothing more frustrating at the airport baggage carousel (talk about an ironic word) than trying to figure out just which bags are yours. The “Luggage Spotter Gripper” helps solve the problem. It wraps around the handle of any bag, quickly distinguishing it from all the others. It has a generous imprint area, a clear window to insert ID and comes in five stock colors and several patterns.

You could call this high-tech in a hurry. The “Pen Drive” is the latest gadget to transport data to and from computers. Utilizing flash memory, it simply plugs into any USB port on virtually any computer and off you go. As it’s small and lightweight, it’s a great way to carry sales presentations, videos, music, photos, e-mails and more.
