101... When Memolink Inc. visits events aimed at college students to encourage them to sign up for its free Internet services, it brings along
this dry-erase memo board as an incentive. The students receive the board, which also promotes a number of local and national advertisers, in
exchange for signing up. In addition, Memolink’s own site gives students the chance to earn points by doing various things – filling out
surveys, visiting sponsors’ sites, taking advantage of free or discounted offers, etc. They can then cash in the points for different prizes,
such as gift certificates for food, movies and music.
