A Little On The Top

Some may consider the ‘20s and ‘30s the golden age of headwear, but we at Imprint beg to differ. At least a little. Sure, every Tom, Dick, Harry and Mable back then wore a hat whenever they left the house. Today, however, even though you don’t see as many snappy fedoras, the sheer variety and quantity of hats far outnumbers whatever was produced back in the day.

This issue, we take a gander at a few of the many available from your counselor. Some may just be the cat’s pajamas for your next promo.

Cap embroidery has come a long way. This one can be decorated in six different places to meet your need – front panel, side panel, back panel, back seam, visor and closure. It features buckram reinforced front panels, pro stitching, six sewn eyelets, six rows of visor stitching, cloth-covered button, pre-curved visor and poly-snap closure.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make a hat stand out – like the brim accent on the “2902 Boca Sandwich” cap. This 100% lightweight brushed cotton, 6-panel cap features buckram backing, a finished underseam and an adjustable back. In six-color combinations. A classic look that never really goes out of style.

With the rising popularity of auto racing, this is just about a natural for fans. The six-panel cap is made from a twill fabric with Velcro back closure and pre-curved visor. It comes in red, black, forest and royal.

If protection from the sun is a client’s concern, say, for an outdoor-themed campaign, check out the “Extreme Outdoor” cap. Of lightweight, breathable, water-repellant microfiber, it features a special ceramic coating that reflects UV rays. Features include a neck cape, which can be tucked underneath the crown, a clip and cord to prevent it from blowing away on windy days and a barrel lock closure. In six colors.

Now this is a hot new item. “Fire” is a six-panel, 100% brushed heavy cotton cap with Velcro strap adjustment. Its flame design features over 2,000 stitches, along with a red-trimmed visor that blends into the cap. Available in navy, white, and black.

One of the biggest fashion styles of the past year has been camouflage. It’s been seen on everything from shirts and skirts to pants and, now, caps. The “YoungAn,” style BT141 is a six-panel cap made from 100% brushed cotton twill. It’s available in four variations. Oh yeah, it’s also popular with hunters.
